This year we have five days to utilize as calamity days, and will be required to account for any full days missed beyond five. However, the first three days beyond five will not need to be made up by students attending school. This year, like last year, the district will utilize Blizzard Bags/E-days as make up days. On the sixth (6th) day missed, Blizzard Bag Lesson #1 will be utilized, on the seventh (7th) full day missed, Blizzard Bag Lesson #2 will be utilized, and on the eighth (8th) full day missed, Blizzard Bag Lesson #3 will be utilized.
Blizzard Bag lessons will be placed on the district’s website and students will have two weeks to complete the lessons and return them to teachers. The lessons will be accessed via a link on the district’s homepage. Junior high and high school students can find their lessons on Schoology.
